A few weeks ago, Mom and I were doing an interview with Lisa at The Well and talked Christmas traditions. We mentioned how we love to combine our baking to give friends assorted Christmas treats.
Sometimes we go all out and make a wild variety – truffles, homemade marshmallows, fudge, anything we can dip in dark chocolate. Other years we stick to the basics – like Grandma’s decorated sugar cookies. No matter which recipes are on the menu, we always tag-team to make them. Then, we box them up, tie on a bow, and hand deliver to those we love.
But then Lisa asked… what ideas do we have for someone who wants to DIY a box of Christmas goodies but doesn’t like to bake or fears it won’t turn out?
Well, here you go… A blog post for our friends who don’t find their holiday jollies baking in the kitchen. You know, you don’t have to be an expert baker to give food gifts with confidence. Besides, who’s going to turn down a great treat you give?
