We weren’t planning to do this! But, after several deeply meaningful conversations with friends and family about how STRESSFUL this season can be, we started thinking about tools. Tools that can help us manage the Christmastime to-do lists and feel more organized – more at peace! So we sat down to think about the tools we use (or wished we had) to help us with our Christmas organization, and these Advent journal pages came pouring out.
Important note: It’s not that we have to “do it all” this season. Don’t do it all. But if a few trackers help us manage the day-to-day, offer some daily reflection, and help us find more joy this wonderful Advent season? We’re all for it.
How to get our Advent Journal Freebie for Christmas Organization:
Subscribe to our blog! You’ll get a newsletter (which usually coincides with the holidays) and access to our subscriber freebie library. Want to sign up? It’s easy. Just add your email to the popup and follow the prompts. (We’re told we have to make sure you’re not a robot before we send you the freebie link.) Are you a member already? The link is in the December newsletter!
What’s included in our freebie?
So many goodies! Like we said, creating these was a little too easy. Included in the Advent Journal freebie are 20+ activities to help you keep an organized mind this season. Holiday spending stressing you out? You might enjoy the Spending Tracker. Having trouble keeping track of all those pretty packages – what’s bought/wrapped/shipped? You might find our Gift Tracker useful. Looking for ways to slow down and realign yourself? You’ll love the peace and reflection in the daily readings at the beginning. You may also enjoy: the “24 Days of Kindness Advent Calendar” (some real gems in here!), the “24 Days of Intentions” bullet journal template, the Housekeeping Tracker, Christmas Card Checklist, Mood Tracker, Brain Dump, weekly planner pages, and more.
Already have a planner, but like a few of our freebie pages too?
That’s great! Download the pdf freebie, and print the pages you like. If you like a particular page (like the reading/reflection) as a daily exercise, you can easily make multiple copies of the same page.
We designed these pages to fit a standard 8.5×11 size, so they should fit nicely into an existing planner of the same size, 3-ring binder, or tacked onto the fridge. We use a disc system planner, so we punch these pages and slip them right in.
In creating these pages we were inspired by the bullet journal concept. We love the idea of bullet journaling, but never seem to find enough time to create those beautiful templates by hand each week. So, we made a few templates that allow for easy customization – sketches, lists, colors…add what suits you.
