This easy, fresh Cilantro-Lime dressing is a gem – the busy cook’s secret weapon for turning out a delicious dinner in a flash!
Why do we call this speedy-fresh recipe “all purpose” dressing?
It’s one of those fantastic recipes that can be used in so many different ways.
- The dressing works as a quick flavor-enhancer for chicken sheet pan dinners.
- It’s wonderful on lettuce salads, pasta salads, and roasted vegetables.
- It adds a lovely brightness to power bowls, is perfect drizzled over fajitas, and
- It stars as a finishing sauce for all kinds of grilled meats.
When whipping up a batch of homemade dressing is as easy as this, you just can’t go wrong!
How to make our Cilantro-Lime dressing?
Fresh lime juice and fresh cilantro are key, of course. But after you have the handful of ingredients, it’s a simple shake-and-save recipe. That’s it! Add all ingredients to a jar, pop the lid on and shake it!
Keep the Cilantro-Lime dressing in the refrigerator for up to one week. You’ll want to use it before that, if possible. While salad dressing flavors generally develop as they mingle, the fresh herbs and bright top notes in this dressing will fade with time. If you’re using the dressing to entertain guests, we strongly recommend it be made fresh (it’s fast, after all)!
Easy. Fast. My favorite kind of weeknight cooking. We hope you love it as much as we do. Get the recipe below!
